Intro/Advanced Sculpture Quiz Questions

Port Jefferson Art Supply (Middle Country Rd.)

Hey Sculpture students...  I'm giving you a heads-up that I asked the Port Jeff Art Supply to order extra grey Van Aken plasticine (aka plastilina), aluminum armature wire (optional), and Sculptamold.  These are required materials that are sometimes hard to find because local places can sell oyut quickly.  Try Port Jeff first.  Support your local art supply store!

Quiz Questions

Sculpture and 3D Design students, here are your quiz questions for the current assigned readings.  3D students will only need to respond to the questions regarding Vik Muniz.  Sculpture students will respond to both Mr. Muniz and Jessica Stockholder.

Do not write your answers here.  Writ them on paper and bring them to class.  Or you can write them in class when the quiz is given.  You will not be permitted to reference the readings if you are responding to the questions during class time.

Hi all. Please see the Art Department secretary for projects or portfolios that you need to pick up. Projects are in the studio (Rm 110) and portfolios are in a box, next to the printer in Room 108.

Announcement - Critique Postponed!

Hi Sculpture folks. In case you missed it in class today, I announced that I have decided to extend the current project due date from this Thursday until the next scheduled class meeting which is the Tuesday immediately following spring break. Sooo.... You have the break to really be thorough in your surface and finish. Your welcome!

Hi 3D Design folks. In case you missed it in class today, I have postponed our due date and critique of the current project until the Monday that we return from spring break. So... Wednesday is a work day, come ready.

3D Design:

Current project due: Wednesday, April 13th at the beginning of class.
Mid Term Paper due: Monday, April 25th at the beginning of class.
